Welcome to IPS, where we believe in raising the bar when it comes to Emergency Medical Services (EMS). With a team comprised of over 200 EMS professionals and a peak-season fleet of up to 80 vehicles, we have all the resources needed to keep Canadians safe. We’ve proudly served a variety of industries for over 20 years, including working in partnership with Alberta Health Services to provide the Vital Heart Response Program in isolated areas throughout the region.

At IPS, we’re passionate about supporting our team and ensuring that they have all the necessary training to do their job to the best of their ability. That’s why we provide in-house training for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and International Trauma Life Support (ITLS).

We also offer comprehensive case management services in the oilfield industry, where safety and the health and well-being of workers are paramount. We understand the challenges which employers face when managing injured or ill workers – that’s why we provide tailor-made third party case management services for employers and prime contractors alike. Our skilled OHNs are available 24/7 to provide round-the-clock services for incidents, illnesses, and injuries. We’re experienced in case management and knowledgeable of CAPP, OSHA, WCB, WorkSafe BC, ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Through our services, we can help employers and prime contractors to manage all injuries and incidents in a prompt, professional manner. Reasonable measures are implemented immediately to prevent cases from increasing in severity level, resulting in decreased loss of time and increased savings of up to 1% of annual payroll.

IPS’s Medical Director oversees all pre-hospital and clinical care.

IPS medical fleet trucks are professionally maintained and serviced and are equipped with the latest safety features. All vehicles are fitted with the equipment and resources necessary to accommodate lengthy patient transports and manage a wide range of medical emergency needs.
