Job Summary: This position is intended to represent Industrial Paramedic Services at various field locations accross Canada and provide premium quality emergency medical standby to our clients using a paramedic’s scope of practice. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Paramedic medical standby in the field including, but not limited to: fracs, forest fires, rigs and pipeline jobs
- Representing IPS in a courteous, positive and productive manner
- Drive to job site in an ambulance or MTC in a safe manner allowing for all road conditions.
- Clean and inspect vehicle before leaving field office and ensure it is clean upon returning it to the field office at end of tour. Maintain cleanliness on job location.
- Complete and submit all forms and paperwork in a tidy, complete manner
- Other duties as required
Qualifications: - Valid registration within your province.
- Clean driver’s abstract
- Class 4 driver’s license
- Valid H2S
- Valid PST ticket an asset
- Previous oil and gas experience consider an asset but not required
Schedule of Work: At IPS we know that each person’s decision to work industrial pre-hospital standby is different. For that reason, we give employees the flexibility to choose what type of shift works best for them. Typically, employees choose a 3 weeks on, 1 week off or 2 weeks on, 1 week off rotation, however we are definitely flexible to try and accommodate what will work best for you!
